Membership:
Several classes of membership are available. All classes of membership have voting rights.

Patron – Anyone, membership fees $25 per year.

Muse - Bestowed upon models who worked with an Artist, and helped to advance the cause during the past two years. Peer reviewed.

Grand Patron – Anyone, membership fees more than $3,000 per year.
- Crafstman - $50 per year. Photographer with a portfolio of nude works. Applied for, bestowed upon a peer review of portfolio. This membership class is subject to basic proficiency as a photographer and basic proficiency working with nudes.
- Artist - $80 per year. Photographic artist with a portfolio of nude work spanning a period of at least three years. This membership class is subject to a high proficiency in the craft with illustrated artistic skills. Applied for, advertised for character reference comments for 6 months - then bestowed subject to annual reviews of new work.
- Master Artists – bestowed upon those who, by peer review, are granted this rank. Reviewed every 2 years based on new work.
- Grand Master – bestowed upon those who, by peer review, are granted this rank after review of at least a decade's work and other criteria.

Not every photographer will be good with nudes. Some of the best shots in history, some of the most memorable works, are press photos and nature photos. Those are two skill areas that frequently deliver amazing pictures. Yet - those photographers may not be very good at doing fine art nudes. The fine art nude photographer follows a different ethic, a different discipline, seeks a different result and tells a different story. Sometimes the art is conceptual, sometimes its pure portrait, sometimes its abstract and another time it is multimedia work.
There are (literally) many millions of bad photographers out there; millions of average photographers, hundreds thousands highly skilled photographers, some with excellent academic quaifications - but only a few are truly Craftsmen of the art of the Fine Art Nude - and fewer still eventually advance to be saluted as Artists in the art of Fine Art Nudes.
Our organization, our discipline, our passion is to advance this art, to honour the mMasters and learn from them, to have works published and exhibited and to share the art with the public -- and so we learn and advance in our appreciation of this particular art.
Craftsmen and Artists are bound by an ethical code of conduct, new work is up for review each year, we learn from each other, we teach, we share and we contribute to the cause.
